Come home to who you really are
with acceptance and love!
Cradled by mountain peaks and wildflowers, sisterhood and radical acceptance, rediscover your power, purpose, and pleasure on this 5 day - 4 night backpacking adventure.
SoulFire Flame is our intermediate-to-advanced level backpacking adventure, designed for those with some backpacking experience who are hungry to explore their inner world while experiencing the support of sisterhood, nature, and space to show up fully as themselves.
This program is all about reconnecting with yourself - with your soul’s fire - through the natural challenges and joys of being in the wilderness. You’ll be led by two guides who are versed in the tandem flow of inner and outer journeys and who will support your unique path with skills for mindfulness, awakening joy, deepening connection, and being deeply present in your life. Together we’ll discover the hidden-in-plain-sight lessons that the natural world generously offers us when we choose to spend time with ourselves and others in the great outdoors.

Frequently Asked Questions:
-
We will be hiking a 10-15 mile loop in the rocky mountains within a 3-4 hour drive of Denver. We finalize our hiking destination based on permit availability, and will let you know our exact location closer to the program start.
We will be hiking at high elevation (10,000 to 12,000 feet). If you are coming from lower elevation we recommend you arrive a day or two early to acclimatize to the alltitude.
-
You are responsible for transportation to and from the trailhead. On our sign-up form you can opt-in to connecting with other participants in order to coordinate carpooling!
Plan to arrive Thursday afternoon and depart Sunday afternoon. We will provide more details and exact timing closer to the trip.
-
The trip will go ahead rain or shine! Part of the experience is learning to embrace the lessons nature provides for us regardless of the form in which they show up. Oh, and bring rain gear!
-
All meals will be provided! Please plan to bring your own snacks and/or foods you cannot live without (for example, Zoe will be bringing extra chocolate for herself because it’s one of her essentials in life!).
-
Plan to bring your own personal gear including: backpack, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, clothing, and personal accessories.
You will be provided with a packing list prior to the trip.
We will provide all group gear (water purification, bear hang, stove, first aid, maps, etc).
-
Every day we will deepen our experience by facilitating one mindfulness exercise and one group discussion, all of which are invitational and optional.
Mindfulness practices may include breath work, walking meditation, solo time in nature, positive journaling, connecting to the body, awakening joy exercises, and sitting meditation.
Group discussions will most likely be held in the morning (depending on weather) and will provide an opportunity to deepen connection with others. Topics will be determined by the trip’s unique participants and wilderness lessons.

The main difference between the two SoulFire offerings is the level of challenge.
SoulFire Spark is our beginner-to-intermediate level trip for those who have never backpacked before or are new to backpacking. It is also designed for anyone who desires or needs a less physically challenging trip. SoulFire Spark is 4 days/3 nights.
SoulFire Flame is our intermediate-to-advanced level trip for those who have some backpacking experience and enjoy a bit of challenge. This trip is longer and more strenuous. SoulFire Flame is 5 days/4 nights.
We are happy to talk with you about which trip might be the best fit for you!
